Notre-Dame Cathedral is the most famous of the Gothic cathedrals of the Middle Ages and is distinguished for its size, antiquity, and architectural interest. On 15 April 2019, a structure fire broke out beneath the roof of the cathedral. The building’s spire and most of its roof had been destroyed and its upper walls severely damaged by the time it was extinguished.

The Louvre Pyramid is a large glass and metal pyramid designed by Chinese-American architect, Ming Pei, in the main courtyard of the Louvre Palace. The large pyramid serves as the main entrance to the Louvre Museum.

The Eiffel Tower is the most iconic landmark in Paris and is one of the most famous buildings in the world. It has has been the inspiration for the creation of many replicas and similar towers.

The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. The monument honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces.

The Luxembourg Gardens (Jardin du Luxembourg) is the most centric and beautiful park in Paris. This was the first French garden to be influenced by the Italian Baroque.

The Place des Vosges, originally Place Royale, is one of the oldest squares in Paris. It has a long royal history and is a great place to shop and picnic.

Disneyland Paris is an entertainment resort in Marne-la-Vallée, a new town located 32km east of the centre of Paris. If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland Paris, do plan it in advance to avoid disappointment during your stay.
